Terms of Service
The rules and conditions for using Vintage Tracker — our Vinted inventory and profit tracking software for resellers.
Last updated:
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and the operator of Vintage Tracker ("we", "us", or "our") governing your access to and use of the Vintage Tracker web application and website at https://vintagetracker.tech(the "Service").
By creating an account, starting a trial, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility and account requirements
To use Vintage Tracker you must:
- Be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age required in your country)
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract, or use the Service only with permission and supervision of a parent or guardian
- Provide accurate, current registration information (including a valid email address)
- Keep your login credentials confidential and notify us promptly of unauthorised access
- Maintain only one account per person unless we approve otherwise in writing
You are responsible for all activity under your account. We may refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a security or legal risk.
2. User responsibilities
When using the Service, you agree that you will:
- Enter inventory, order, and financial data accurately and keep it up to date
- Ensure you have a lawful basis to store any personal data about third parties (for example buyers) in your account
- Comply with applicable laws, including tax, consumer protection, and platform rules (including Vinted's terms of service)
- Use the Service only for lawful reselling and business-management purposes
- Back up critical business records — the Service is a tool, not a substitute for your own record-keeping obligations
Vintage Tracker helps you track profit and inventory; we do not provide tax, legal, or accounting advice. Consult qualified professionals for compliance decisions.
3. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Use the Service to violate any law, infringe intellectual property, or harass others
- Upload malware, attempt unauthorised access, scrape the Service, or interfere with its operation
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or copy the Service except where permitted by law
- Resell, sublicense, or white-label the Service without our written consent
- Use automated means to create accounts or overload our infrastructure
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with Vintage Tracker
We may investigate violations and cooperate with law enforcement where required.
4. Subscription plans
Vintage Tracker offers paid subscription tiers, including (as described on our pricing page):
- Starter — €4,99/month (features such as limited inventory volume, profit tracking, orders, and dashboard access)
- Pro — €9,99/month (unlimited inventory, analytics, and priority beta support)
- Elite — not yet generally available; waitlist or early access may apply
Plan features, limits, and prices may change; we will give reasonable notice before changes affect your active subscription. Feature availability may differ during beta or early access.
5. Billing and payments
Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe, Inc. Payment processing is subject to Stripe's terms.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled
- Prices are shown in euros (EUR) unless stated otherwise; applicable taxes may be added where required
- You authorise us and Stripe to charge your payment method on file for recurring fees
- Failed payments may result in suspension of paid features after a grace period
- Invoices and payment history are available through the Stripe Customer Portal linked from Settings
You must provide valid billing information and keep it current. Disputes about charges should be raised promptly via the contact details below.
6. Free trials
New users may receive a 14-day free trial with Pro feature access. Unless stated otherwise at signup:
- No credit card is required to start the trial
- At the end of the trial, you must select a paid plan to continue using paid features; otherwise access may be limited to free-tier functionality or suspended
- We may modify or end trial offers at any time for new signups; existing trials in progress are honoured for their stated duration
- One trial per person or organisation unless we approve otherwise
7. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time:
- Use the Stripe Billing Portal in Settings to cancel before your next renewal date
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period — you retain access until then
- After cancellation, your account may revert to a free or limited tier, or become read-only, depending on product policy at that time
- You may delete your account separately; deletion does not automatically refund unused subscription time
We may suspend or cancel your access immediately for breach of these Terms, non-payment, fraud, or legal requirements.
8. Refund policy
Except where required by applicable consumer law:
- Subscription fees are non-refundable once a billing period has started
- Cancelling stops future charges; we do not provide prorated refunds for partial months
- If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 14 days of the charge with your account email and invoice details — we will review good-faith billing mistakes
- Free trials are free; no refund applies because no payment was taken
Nothing in this section limits mandatory refund rights under EU/UK consumer regulations or other laws that cannot be waived by contract.
9. Intellectual property
The Service — including software, design, logos, text, and documentation (excluding your data) — is owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.
- We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your internal business purposes while your account is active and in good standing
- You retain ownership of content you upload (inventory records, photos, notes). You grant us a licence to host, process, and display that content solely to provide the Service
- Feedback you submit may be used by us without restriction or compensation
- "Vintage Tracker", related marks, and the VT monogram are our trademarks — do not use them without permission
10. Service availability
We aim to keep Vintage Tracker available and reliable, but the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation.
- Planned maintenance, updates, and third-party outages (hosting, Stripe, Supabase, Vinted) may cause temporary downtime
- Features labelled beta, early access, or coming soon may change or be withdrawn without notice
- We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service with reasonable notice where practicable
You are responsible for exporting or backing up data you need if the Service changes or ends.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
- Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service or these Terms is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) €50
- We are not responsible for actions of third-party platforms (including Vinted), payment processors, or your misuse of the Service
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
12. Termination of accounts
Either party may end the relationship: you by cancelling and/or deleting your account; we by suspending or terminating access for violation of these Terms, extended inactivity, non-payment, or discontinuation of the Service.
Upon termination:
- Your right to use the Service ends immediately or at period end
- We may delete or anonymise your data after a retention period described in our Privacy Policy
- Sections that by nature should survive (payment obligations, intellectual property, limitation of liability, governing law) remain in effect
13. Changes to the service and these Terms
We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. Material changes to Terms will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with changes, stop using the Service and cancel your subscription.
For significant changes affecting paid subscribers, we will use reasonable efforts to notify you by email or in-app message.
14. Governing law
These Terms will be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the operator of Vintage Tracker is established. See the launch checklist at the top of this page — the governing law must be specified before go-live.
If you are a consumer in the EU/UK, you may also have rights to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
